Question

I am looking at buying a used jet ski - 07' YAMAHA WAVERUNNER JETSKI. 110 HORSE POWER 4 STROKE MOTOR. SKI WAS SERVICED EVERY 50 HRS BY CERTIFIED MECHANIC. It was a rental and has 400 hours on it. Price is $3250. Would it be better to buy an older model, like a 2001 with less than 100 hours on it? I'm thinking a rental ski was ridden hard and often - will it still be reliable?

Thanks!

Hello. This is just my opinion, of course, because there is no "right" answer to a question like this. I would be very wary of a rental unit, for the reasons you mentioned. You realy have no idea about it's history other than the hours, which are quite high for a ski that old. If I could get an older ski with fewer hours that is in good shape I would almost certainly take that.

Answer

Yes, I was paid. I'm not sure why the system would say that, but you can ignore it and it will time out. Thanks!
