The company stated one week ago that I had psychological problems and needed to seek counseling through EAP. Now as of yesterday, they set up an interview for me for a temporty position (someone out for 2 months), will pay me my management salary for 2 months, then I would lose management pay to regular nurse salary, if I found a permanent job with them.

Hello XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX,

If you believe that you were terminated because of retaliation for exercising a legal right, then you can file a wrongful termination suit against your employer. Not all actions you take in the workplace though are protected by anti-retaliation laws. Do you want to expand on what you did that you think management terminated you for?
