I have a 2006 Chevy Classic. When I have the heat or air conditioning on it makes the car try to staul or it will staul. Also, it will continuely shut the air conditioning off all together. I have had it in severl shops and no one seems to know what is wrong or how to fix it. Can you help?

OK, IS there any abnormal noise from the compressor?With the engine off, can you turn the center of the compressor?

I have not heard any compressor noise and I am not sure about the other question

It works. It just won't stay on very long. You have to keep hitting the button. And every time you hit it to turn it on or off the engine revvs or tries to shut off.

Nope. It has never come on.

OK, we need to see what the computer is seeing for the high side pressure while this is happening. If you do not have a scan tool, it may be wise to get it scanned.
