Welcome. I will try my best to help you and in order to do that, I need you to describe as best you can because I only know as much about your problem as you have told me in your post, so my answer will be based on what you have posted. Please feel free to reply as needed.

Have you checked any of the wiring between the throttle pedal and the PCM?

Have you checked the wiring from the throttle body to the PCM?

Have you checked the ETC fuse #23 in the underhood fuse block?

Thanks for response, all the wiring appears to be in good condition, i check the fuse long time ago but i have to look again. This all start with a bad APP sensor, i change it but then all the sudden the TAC went bad too. I have to look again for that fuse. Any more info that you can share with me?

Answer

Basically, if the fuse is good, and the wiring is good, you have replaced the throttle body and the APP sensor, that leaves the PCM as the issue, but we need to verify some diagnosis before going that far.

Any tricks for this thing?

For that my friend the only thing that you can do is to remove some start-up programs to speed up the a little bit the computer just follow this - Start, Run, write MSCONFIG, hit ok, look for the tab that say startup and just disabled the software that are running in the strat-up of the computer, once you deactivaded you must restart the computer for the changes to take effect. Now if you have a printer it might stop working if you deactivaded the software for it. Do you thing that the throttle body that i just relaced today is bad?

The chances of a faulty TB out of the box is slim.

Can you recommend a good 12-13" laptop, quick, powerful but not too much in the wallet? Would not mind a good graphics card.

For that size you can look into the HP computers they goy a pretty decent computer of that size at good prices, and Dell Computers, keep in mind that all the computers that are Mini's it wont have a good processor or video card. What are the things that you like t do in the computer?

Beside the pdf that you send me what other thing do you recommend?

Posted by GM Tech 93 days and 9 hours ago.

Answer

There is a bit of testing in the document that will lead you to the issue. As I said, with all that you have replaced, it is either a wiring issue or the PCM.

I like to play some games, not always the newest, but 256mb would be the min video, I spend alot of time on here, JA answering questions so I often have many pages open, I also want to use it at work and GM has some minimum requirements. I want at least 2gb or ram, but I can upgrade that, and I will not buy another HELL. I have spent more than 10 hours on the phone trying to fix my inspiron 1520 and the last I called them, the wanted me to re install XP again. I had done it 6 times in 3 months. Lets just say I am proficient at the fresh install route. Ideally I would like a Blu Ray drive in it as well.

LOL, Ok, in Costco they have one HP with blu-ray, 1GB dedicated ATI video card, 4GB of ram, i think is 640GB of hard drive, but the LCD is about 17 inch, the price is about $1,000.

If you want the video card plus the blu-ray you have to go more than 14 inche.

And what happen to your HELL?

I will test waht you send me iand I let you know

I use it at work. IT works ok now, but I am still considering running it over. It has the big warranty. I just need to make sure it looks unintentional.

Do you think this have to do with a defective K-9 alarm system?

Answer

I am not familiar with the K9 alarm, but I doubt it.
