I have an Averatec 7100 series laptop that appears to have a Trojan virus. I need to find an XP disk with the proper drives to get it back up and running. Is Averatec still in business? If not do you have any idea of who might be able to help me with this problem.

Finding the company name is a huge help. Thank you. I think what we need to find is the operating systems disk so we can try to rebuild it. Thank you! If you have any suggestions other then trigem please let me know. I will try to contact them.

Just an FYI that trigem is about as useless as Averatec. If you go to their site nothing connects. If youcall their USA office its all voice mail or you just get disconnected. I just wanted to to know in case you get any other questions about Averatec. I know its not your fault, angain thanks for your help.

Is that going to load and operate with this morther board? I will never put Vista on. I'll buy a Mac first...:)
