I've tried accelerator but that didn't help
as per the choppy video you need to install the video driver which might have been corrupted.
Dowload and install it from the link below

Please update me the status after download install and restart thecomputer then play the video. change the resolution to 1024X768 should work fine.

here it looks that the issue is something else we are not here to get the fix in the very first answer however till the time it is fixed you dont accept the closure of the answer.
I am sorry i might be sounding a bit confusing however we are at the stage of troubleshooting and will fix the issue my moving with further steps.
I feel that there could be some kind of additional or unwanted programs are running at the background please press control Alt and Delete key together and select talk manager and then click on performance and tell me the cpu usage graph status and i will be back soon with an answer.
