Question

My 2007 chevy trailblazer SS wont shift into 3rd or 4th gear. Engine RPMs rev up as if it was in nutral. this happened after hours of driving and then in the middle of shifting into passing gear I backed off the gas and then back onto before shifting was complete. Onstar diagnostic only showed an emmision problem.

this isnt good....if you are shifting from 1st to 2nd with no problem,then when it is time for it to go into 3rd,it feelss as if it went to [n]..the trans will need to be rebuilt or replaced,,the problem is in the 3-4 clutch pack ..the clutchs are burnt or the piston sealing rings are damaged..sorry
