I have filled the tank with 4 gallons of gas and tried to start it. Sounds like everything is working properly, it just won't turn over.

Answer
I would put more than 4 gallons in it. If it were out of gas 4 gallons will not pick up. Try putting more fuel in it. Thanks

Gary,
Will 8 gallons pick up? Is there anything else I will need to do under the hood if this is a fuel injected engine or will just putting more gas in and tuning the key do the trick?
Accepted Answer
Eight gallons should pick up. If you ran it out of fuel it will need that much. Remeber the fuel pick up is about 4 inches from th e bottom of the tank. Thanks
