My C70 convertible top folds down into the appropriate areas but the final pannel doesn't close. Is there any way to mannually close the final panel? (Please remember. Since this panel is open, I can't get into the trunk)

Already Tried:
According to Volvo service dept, it is either a fuse or the motor. Since the top panel is open, I can't get into the trunk, which the manual says there are tools to manually close it. I'm worried if I force it close, I will break the hydrolic arms.

XXXXXXXXXXXX, DONT force it, you need to have the dealer or a volvo specialist that has the volvo VST scan tool to look at this and they will be able to close it with the tool. sounds like a microswitch problem. each section has a micro switch so the controller knows when to activate the next section, with out hitting and or binding. if the top is all the down and the cover wont close, I would be looking a microswitch issue, the cover had to open when putting the top down so that means most liley the fuses and motor are ok, just isnt getting the signal to be able to close the top.
but you have to have the VST to do anything with those tops.
