battery dies when car running whit a jump it seems to run forever but as soon engine turned off wont start again. got a new battery

Already Tried:
checking the alternator when it,s on it shows 12+ volt maybe not enough?

Answer

12 Volts is not enough, it should be at at least around 14 with engine running with lights, heater, radio, ect on. Replace your alternator and the problem should be gone, let me know if you have questions, thanks.
