Question

i have a Volvo V70 Turbo wagon which has done about 62k. (Year 2000) I have already changed the transmission fluid, but after about 20 minutes of driving, when i slow down to make a turn and accelerate again, it seems to drop into neutral and then feels if someone has hit you in the rear-end. It doesn't happen all the time and normally not within 20 minutes of first starting off, with a cold start.

it looks like you have problem in valve body or in internal problem if you dont have any warrning lights problem is inside the trans now the problem is opening and changing valve body for that is aroun $1800 with labor new trans is around $3000 or used is best option i hthing if you go with replacment hole unit 2000 for used with life time warranty on parts only thing you can try before that is to take it volvo install new software to trans module reprogram the gears and check fluid level in some case i did fix problems like yours no come back try software and programing gears first than other items are your 2nd option
