My Fisher & Paykel L08 washer stopped in mid-wash. No lights, noises, nothing. I checked the AC and it's good going into the control unit on the top of the washer. what should I do?

Answer
As long as power is at control then the control has failed. Very expensive, so time for a new washer. You can call FP for a price on that control if you are curious.

I understand that the control unit is about $177.00 from what I've seen online, The washer is not that old (10yrs) and is great shape, do you think I should consider on of the newer front load washers like the Amana?
Accepted Answer
Front loads are superior to what you have. Your money, but you'll love a front load- it's worth every penny. Whirplool very good- I have 2 at my house.
