Question

my HP 5100 series all in one printer willonly print 3-4 lines and then it stops and rejects the page.
I have checked the cartridges and connections between the computer and the printer and all seem ok.

now what?

Hi,

Please click on this LINK and follow the steps one by one

1. Click the Download only button.
2. Click the Run button to begin the download.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to begin the installation process.
4. Click Finish.
5. Click This program installed correctly.
6. To run the utility, click Start (or hit Ctrl+Esc or hit Windows key on your keyboard), All Programs, HP, HP Print Diagnostic Utility.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions.
8. If the issue continues, turn your printer on and off, disconnect and reconnect the printer cable from the computer and the printer, and restart the computer.
9. After the computer has restarted, please cancel any pending print jobs, if prompted.

I'm not very computer literateand could not follow your instructions. Having already spent 3 hours on the problem, I decided it would be easier to buy a new printer!
