Question

I have a HP 950 printer and a dell computer. I purchased them about 4 years ago. The printer/fax/scanner was working fine until about May of 2009. Now it will only scan and print a document- not fax and not scan and download to the dell. I checked and the The Dell is a Windows XP operating system- not sure when that happened. Anyway the disk that came with the printer says only up to Windows 2000. Is there any way I can get a download to update the printer to be compatible with XP

I put the installation disk that came with the printer into the drive. It said the operating system did not recognize it. I checked the computer and it said operating system was Windows XP. Not sure how that happened, as I thought I had WInows 2000

The scanner will now scan to the computer, however the fax machine still willnot send a fax. I checked all connections, called the telephone company (they said it is not their problem). It will scan and dial, but willnot connect.
