My wife and I thought she might be pregnant. She was really late for her period, but the pregnancy tests she's taken say negative. She's been cold then hot, she's extremely more tired than normal, and said she just feels pregnant, as this would be our second child. But Tuesday night, she started bleeding and said that it's heavy, but it's really dark, like brown, not red. Any help or advice?

Hello,
She most likely had a 'late' period - and when late, usually the period is heavier than normal. If there is no let-up in the bleeding or the dark discharge then she should be seen by her doctor. If she has heavy bright red blood type of bleeding - she should be seen much soon, but darker older blood can wait. I hope this helps, take care.
