Answer

Hello,
This is just suggested - this is so the cuff of the vagina can heal - most of the time the vagina is fine in about 2 to 4 weeks depending on the health of the patient. I hope this helps. Take care and please click on ACCEPT as this would be appreciated. Thank you.

So this means I won't get cancer or anything like that right? I am just a little scared and missed a doctors appointment because of it. I wanted to prepare myself before going into see my doctor next week. Do I have to be concerned about infections? Or anything like that?

How much will be taken from my account once I press accept to have you paid?

Accepted Answer

Hi again,
NO you will not get cancer (that is a good wive's tale though). Don't be scared. If you are bleeding profusely this would be a problem. Actually, years ago, we use to leave the 'cuff' open, but we actually close the cuff now (where your cervix used to be). You don't have to prepare yourself to see your doctor - this is not the first time your doctor has seen /heard early intercourse before. You should be concerned about infections either. You should be fine. I hope the hysterectomy overall was a success for you. Take care and please don't forget to click on ACCEPT for my time. Thanks!
