Question

I have a backyard pond approx. 12 x 15 ft. I am plagued with garter snakes taking my pond fish What can I do to stop them.

There are so many theories and applications that people have tried to rid themselves of snakes. The main concern should be the safety of the product that you use. It is important to use an environmentally safe product that will not harm pets, people, etc....

I previously worked in the pest control industry and we applied the following product and had excellent success. See attached link for review.

This snake repellent can be applied along the outside perimeter of the yard to create a barrier. The advantage of this is that it will not be near the edge of the water and eliminates the possibility of the chemical leaching into the water.
