Hey guys I've been having a problem with my 2005 awd magnum. The tsb calls it slow speed shutter and it recommends the trans clucht plate to be removed. When i took it to the dealer the first time they ignored the tsb and just flush the fluid . That fixed the problem for a few months then it slowly came back. The second time they had it for a few days claim they did nothing and could not get the car to have the shudder when i went in it really wasnt doing it but did come back a few months later. I suspect they flushed the fluid again. Any input on this problem would be appreciated because I'm going to be taking it back soon.

Answer

The service bulletin is the proper fix for the problem and needs to be performed. I would talk to the service manager and insist that it be done. Depending upon what the mileage was when you first took it in there should not be a charge for the repair if it was under the 3/36. If you get nowhere insist on speaking with the district manager or contact Chrysler Corp to file a complaint.

do you know if driving it this way for the past 10,000 could have caused any aditional damage.should i push for additional work to be done
