When I crank my 98 Mazda MPV once it has cooled of I hear a lound squeaky noise for about 10 seconds and then it goes away and rides fine. I have had my belts adjusted and they are fairly new. What is the problem?

Having someone adjust my tension on the belts. It works for a while and then it starts back with the loud squeaking as if the belts are slipping

I do have an oil leak. How do you suggest that I remedy the squeaking sound until I can get my oil leap repaired

There is not much you can do until the oil leak is not fixed. You can try tuning the car on and while the belt is turning put some soap on the belt top/bottom. Don't push down too hard, just allow the belt to take some of the soap.
That should top the squeaking temporarily.
