my dog border collie was given carprofen 100mg one tablet daily for nine days,and died in the tenth day of thrombocytopaenia.

My heartfelt condolences on the loss of your dog.

While the adverse side effects of carprofen usually involve liver or kidney failure, thrombocytopaenia is not among it's reported side effects. This condition can be related to other medications, like certain antibiotics. However, it is also an adverse effect of toxicity from ingestion of a rodenticide (rat poisoning).

Labrador Retrievers are usually very sensitive to this medication and exhibit adverse side effects most often, but other breeds can also be adversely affected.

If it was diagnosed that thrombocytopaenia was the cause of death for your dog, I'm assuming a necropsy was performed, and it would be important to ask about a toxin screening.
