I want to remove the engine from a 1994 750 sl ,polaris watercraft, how do I un-couple the engine from the drive?

I knew that much how do I un-couple the drive shaft?

should just pull out once the jetpump is loose.

Is there a coupler between the engine & jet pump?

from what the book says yes but the diagrams do not show anything that would need to be undone without just removing the shaft.

 

Like on seadoos some you just pull the pump and others there is a collar you pull back and it has a lock ring under it, but all of that is shown in the book, I am reading about yours right now and cannot find anything about that.

 

I am going to opt-out because I cannot find anything about removing a coupler, another expert may have more info for you.
