Question

Please could you advise me on the following problem I am having with my XC90.
Whilst driving the car today a message came up "bulb failure dipped beam", i have checked both fuses and xenon bulbs which on inspection seem to be ok, i find it hard to believe that the two bulbs would blow at the same time. I await your advice. Many thanks, XXXXX XXXXX

changed fuses and checked bulbs.

How did you check the bulbs? You will have to check to see if you have power at the connector before the bulbs. I have my own wiring diagrams at home, and I see that the connector before the ballast, you should check on wires, also did you check fuse 16? that is the fuse that is common to them both. After fuse 16, a violet wire, it branches to both headlights. please check this and let me know (the fuse 16 is on the CEM inside the car above the drivers feet.
