my alarm keeps going off at night on my volvo v40

Already Tried:
all i can do is not activate the alarm by locking the car using the keyhole instead of the remote.

it looks like you have problem with one of the door locks all door locks have micro switch inside for alarm now they go bad and now you alarm is trigged you will have to have advanced scan tool to monitor what lock is giving wrong info to alarm module activating alarm that is were you need to start

that sounds like it could be right bcoz there is button near the electric window switches that should lockdown all the doors but it doesnt work so this could be linked, bu this does not explain why it only happens during the night. The first night it went off 3 times. the next night i turned it off after the first time that it went off.

all the time i know it happens at night when alarm goes deep security system keeps checking more times due to you not opening car as much at night during day it will hapen if you dont open car for long time so i would take it volvo dealer and find out were the fault code is in what door lock is the problem only way to tell is using a scan tool
