Answer

Hello and Welcome to justanswer..

The next thing to do then is to go to the motor which is on the washer bottle... Have someone operate the control for the rear washer and see if its actually operation the motor ...

If It is as I suspect it will be - then remove the motor from the bottle... there is a black rubber filter between the outlet on the bottle and where the pump fits.. check that - take it out and give it a good clean and then retry it.

If it still doesn't work, swap the pipe round with the front and retry it - if that then works - then basically you either have a blockage between front and rear - in which case you can try blowing that through with an air line - or the motor has failed and will need replacing...

So work through as above - the fault is likely as above . The only other side of things would be if there is a fault in the current supply to the motor - so check to see if there is power at the motor when the switch is operated with a tester - if there is power - its definitely as above.. if not - then check the circuit - inc the switch through etc ..

I Sincerely hope I have helped you - Please ask me if you need more help...

Kind Rgds, MIKE

Hello again.. Thank you for your reply..

Ok- depending on exact model - some washer bottles are under the bonnet ,near the suspension turrets - others are under the black plastic panel and those ones are difficult to get at ....

If its the latter, there 's no real magic to it , is just somewhat tedious to remove , you have to remove the paneling etc to gain access and then you are able to check the piping / motor etc...

Im just thinking too - just be sure that there is definately no water coming through the pipe - sometimes the pipe breaks at the rear end -

I hope that helps you further...

Kind Rgds - - MIKE
