missing pixels on the clock/radio display on my 1999 freelander-should I replace the whole unit INCLUDING the cable or is the problem usually with the unit itself.Also...How ?

Hello and Welcome to justanswer...

Its the display unit that is failing - not the cabling in anyway.

To be honest I wouldn't recommend replacing the unit unless you really want to - there are companies that will repair your dash with a full warranty - better than it ever was and for a lot less money...


One such company is HERE ( click the link I have created for you ) They do do your model even though its not specifically listed - so contact them anyway to discuss yours / prices etc...
