Hello Scott,
The are a few things that could cause your low beams light to stop working. The first thing that I would check are the bulbs because I have seen many times were both bulbs bun out at the same time. If both bulbs are good then the next to check is fuses and most cars do have separate fuses for the low beam head lights. If the fuses are blown then you should check for damage wire( make sure aminals haven't chewed them) or head lamp switch(you could see melted plug on the switch). If the fuses are good then you should check the head lamp switch. If you need a digram of what wire does what I can get it for you. As far as your parking light flashing different when you lock or unlock with the remote that I do not have a good answer for you. A lot of thous systems you can program when they blink lights and I have seen people change the programing by tuning the key on and off many times then using there remote. I think there is a chance you may have accidentally changed the programing on your keyless system. Hope this helps and please feel free to ask ant more questions you may have,
