i can tell you Nokian WRG2 are more winter tires they are good tires but in summer time you will wear them out faster than all seasion tires if you like and have lots of snow and cold time than buy nokian .

Snow comes as early as mid October and can last as late as end April.
We don't travel long distances..to Portland or Spokane a few times a year. What do you think would be the best all season radial for our
region and our car?

if you have snow that sticks till april tires for winter are better for you if the sreet are good cleaned thru winter that you can use radial all season tires if not that use winter nikon tires
