Is the undertray easily found under the engine? Why do I need to place a new washer to the sump plug? Is this just a regular metal washer or a special one from Volvo?

Where is the oil filter found?

Answer

Yes undertray is easily found.

You must always replace the sealing washer to prevent leaks. It is a special compressable copper washer designed for the job. Do not use a normal washer.

I cant tell you where the oil filter is because you haven't said what engine you have.

My instructions are therefore generic to suit any.

However I would suggest that you leave this to the experts. Kwik Fit and others can do an oil and filter replacement quite cheaply.

Bill.
