My sea-doo is a '97 SPX.This is the first time this year i have attempted to take it out.
All of my fuel lines are grey, in color, not sure if thats what you meant. I have tried To see an arc and i saw nothing, but i do not have any starter fluid.
Also the spark plugs are from late last year
Sorry i am somewhat of an ameteur. Do you mean put gas into the hole the spark plug goes in? if so, How much gas to be exact?
What is a good ground?
If the lines are grey does that mean they are definately bad?
yes it does give two beeps.
I removed a hose and there didn't appear to be any sludge on the inside it looked pretty clean.
I did the gas thing and it still did not start, and i drained my battery so waiting for it to charge.
I am not sure what the fuel/ water seperating filter is, i am not very knowledgable, i dont have much money and trying to fix it myself.
That is the filter i replaced today, the old one wasnt to bad just a few little peices of debri but not bad at all. It has always beeped twice and still does.
so the park plugs are good?
I cleaned with an eraser and it made the key more sensitive becuase i used to have to take it off and put it on, take it off and put it on for it to beep.
But is still cranks and sounds like it is going to start but as soon as i let off the start button it stops.
I feel like the battery has lost its power. Is it ok too hook it up to a charger without unhooking it?
ok the battery is charged. another thing i have noticed is that when i try to start it after a couple times the exhaust pops and discharges a burst of exhaust at high pressure. is this normal?
I still plan on purchasing new plugs tomorrow just in case but now what do you recommend?
ok thank you. which spark plugs do you prefer, i have plugs from auto zone on there now. and what would be the correct gapping?
Also i am at my mothers and it is dark and would like to continue talking to you either tomorrow or the next day. is there a certain way that i could get you the next time i log on and if so what hours are you usually on?
