Answer

Not that she would not notice. Most all of these paints on cooking utensils are "baked enamel". These paints are also a high temp protected paint. Finding the correct paint and being able to provide the correct finish would be quite difficult. reply if needed. Accept only if satisfied.

Thanks. There are several pans and it might be worth a try. Any shade of gray would look good. Nut 'baked enamel' sounds out of reach for home diy. Or can I put it in the oven?? Can you recommend a make of paint / enamel to give it a try? I'm in the uk. Many thanks.

There are four. But two of them the most important. These two have all metal handles that can't be taken off.

Accepted Answer

You may be in trouble. Most Craft paints safe to cook or eat from require "baking" and can be done in the oven itself. Go your your local craft shop and ask them if they have any "food safe" enamel paint for glass or metal ware that does not require baking. As some do have paints that are safe to put on and cook or eat from that do not require baking. However, the finish is often not as "hard" as the baked enamel. But any craft shop should be able to point you to the correct paint and the best method.
