First look things over and check to see how the belt guards are attatched.
Now find the belt and stretch it toward the main pulley that it came off of.
Do not attempt to put the belt on at this time, just look at where it goes.
Now that you see where the belt has to go, loosen the bolts that hold the belt guards in place. I said loosen...NOT remove!!!!
Now that the belt guard is loose, you may carefully stretch the belt over the pulley between the belt guard and the pulley. Check to make sure that everything is in its proper place and that the belt is no touching anything it is not supposed to.
Now tighten the belt guard down and double check to make sure that the belt is not rubbing on the belt guard.
Gently engage the belt and check agin to make sure nothing is touching the belt.
start the engine and listen and smell (for burnt belt) if everything seems ok, you are done.
