I have a spreadsheet I update each month. My question pertains to this formula:
=Sheet1!G37. "G" here represents the month which changes each subsequent month, H, I, etc. I have several similar formulas with the same issue scattered throughout a very large monthly report. Question: Is there a way to make the "G" value a variable that I change in only one place so that the "G" all of the similar formulas change with it?

Hi,

Let me see if I understand this correctly. You want the formula to read a letter from another place and replace the letter G in that formula by the letter it gets from that cell. For example if you type the letter "H" in cell A1, you want that formula to change from =Sheet1!G37 to =Sheet1!H37. Is this correct?
