My 13yo cocker has been very restless the past three days He isnt sleeping all the way through the night like he had. He keeps walking around trying to find a comftorable spot, and he seems to be favoring one of his back legs when he gets up and walks, he has fallen on his behind a few times as well. Is this a sign of arthritis? He does not seem confused or disoriented and still has a strong appetite, so I dont think it would be cds.

Took him to the vet. She put him on tramadol pending blood work. If blood work is ok the said try rimadyl. She did a physical exam but no x-rays.

This could be a spine problem or an issue with arthritis in hips or knees etc.
I find my senior dogs appreciate the raised beds as being easier to get into and out of and more comfortable for them. I use these the coolaroo beds

and know they are inexpensive, durable and you can put a blanket in them if needed.
I also know my senior dogs even in warm weather and especially when I have the A/C on like having a heated choice for sleeping on. I use the pet bed heater like this
