yes the check eng. light is on. I had a tune up less than a year ago. went back to repair shop & they did not have equipment to answer that code. The exhaust has started to leak

Answer

First thing is to find out what codes are stored.

If the exhaust leak is any where near the cat or before it could easily screw up the o2 sensors and screw up the mixture.

this problem started before the exhaust leak

Accepted Answer

So the exhaust leak might not be related to the lack of power.

It would be most useful to find out what codes are stored.
It could have a boost leak or a boost control valve problem.
