Question

hooked 2005 Honda R12X Turbo up to the computer and it had a heat code. We got into some shallow water and had some weeds int the intake. The ski with the heat code ran hot for just a second... buzzer went off. Cleaned intake and ski ran fine. Since the ski got hot does the code stay in the computer or are there other possible cooling issues?

<p>Hello XXXXXXXXX,</p><p>By hooking it up to a computer I am assuming you mean that you had a Honda dealer use the handheld computer to retrieve the trouble code stored in the ECU. There is another seperate procedure using the handheld computer to erase the trouble code. The ECU on the watercraft will store the trouble code in memory until it is erased so unless that procedure was done the code is still stored.</p><p> </p><p>If this answer was helpful please click accept and leave positive feedback.
