Hi XXXXXXXXXX! Thanks for submitting your question! Just a few questions,
1) Were you using Dreamweaver CS3 or CS4 to build the Spry assets?
2) what type of web server have you pushed to, Unix, Linix, or Windows?
3) Does it not work in IE OR Firefox?
4) What is the domain name so I can see??
Thanks! Lets see what we can do to get this working for ya!
OK, well, the spry should work just fine on Linix, since it is just Javascripting that is making it work. I know you said you were sure that you pushed up the .js and the .css files with everything else, but did the folder structure stay the same? The assets must be in the spry assets folder as they are locally to work correctly...
Just so you can see, there is www.greenwoodelementarypta.com
that uses a simple collapsable spry built in CS3 and works just fine in IE and Firefox....maybe you should check with your web host and see if there is an activeX/JS funtionality that must be set up on your site...
I would reattach to the template....the Spry itself it pretty neat, but if you have it housed in a template to begin with, you cant detach from it, since it links to a .css and a .js file....SOMETIMES you can fix it by reattaching the template to the pages, but that sometimes destroys the code....
you best bet would be to recreate the blank page from the template (with the spry that works, ) and copy and paste your custom data from the non working page into the editable region...
make sense?
Keeping the ones you have (although I know you dont want to hear this!) will eventually break on you when you upload. The best way is to:
Recreate template1 wiht the main spry set. This can be used to build other pages. If you want other pages to have ADDITIONAL spry sets, build them inside of the editable region in a new document file....
