How do you remove the pump assembly on a 1997 sl1050--the attachment points do not appear to be connected with any bolts??

Here is a link to a parts diagram that shows the bolts that hold the pump together:

When you get there, select Polaris in the drop down box, then in the next drop down box, select PWC, then in the next drop down box, select 1997, and in the last drop down box, find your SL1050.
At the top of that picture box, you will see another drop down box, which says "Change Assembly", in that box select "Propulsion"
Here you will see a blow up of the pump assembly. Reference #33 are the bolts that hold the pump together. Reference #17 will stay attached to the hull. It is bolted to the hull from the inside.From #13 back will pull out with the pump as an assembly.
The one thing to be aware of is if the ski has been in salt water, there is a good chance it will be stuck together from corrosion. At that point, you are probably going to have to remove the ride plate so you can rap on the pump with a 2x4 and a hammer to free it up for removal.
