Question

I have a 1976 Jolly Roger with a 140 mercruiser inboard. My power trim motor and pump needed replacing and Go2Marine said a API PT510N motor and pump would work as mine was not available anymore. I have the new one installed but the hydraulic line hookups are different. Is there a adapter kit they didn't tell me about or what is the best way to go here?

Answer

I don`t know of any adapter kit. What you could do is go to a local Hydraulic/Plumbing supply store with the old and new pump. Show them what you are trying to do. Very important to tell them that the pump is capable of producing about 4000 psi. Get the GOOD fittings.
