Question

I have a lawn sprinkler problem
the backflow preventer valve leaks water when I open the main control valve to the sprinkler system - the is almost no pressure in the sprinkler nozzles

I am located in Rochester, Minnesota

The sprinker system is 3 years old.

What is involved in servicing the backflow preventer valve

Can I do this myself

? ballpark cost if it is done professionally

You have to be certified to do this in Michigan.
I have no idea about Minnesota but I can ask.
I'm not sure what they charge for the service around here. I think it's about $125.
