Question

Hi
I have been to 3 doctors,physio,chiropractor,acupuncturist & massage,trying to get rid of a chronic headache of nearly 12 months
I have had a ct scan that shows mild disc bulge c5c6 & degenerative changes
I have a 15 year old compressed fracture of t7
My symptoms include
1/ chronic headache,mainly just above base of skull
2/jaw pain,ie dull & sometimes spasmodic with general tenderness surrounding jaw,ear,temple
3/blocking & deep itching in ear esp left
4/neck pain esp left
4/shoulder &back pain esp left
5/teeth pain,buzzing sensation esp upper molars
I am a long term smoker & am concerned this may be related to circulation ?

My you have been through a lot!!

 

Well it seems you have visited just about everyone except the one person who maybe could have helped you and that is a neurologist.

 

These symptoms you are suffering are being caused by nerves and nerve endings. You have more than likely got more than one nerve in your spine which is being pinched or even crushed.

 

These need to be addressed and released and it is a neurologist who will be able to help you. You could get a referral via your GP or arrange to visit someone privately, but either way I do believe that if you are going to get any relief from these awful symptoms, this is the road you need to go down.

 

I do wish you well and hope you are made pain free very very soon.
