Is the drum still going round?

Does it work as normal except for heat?

Hiya,

OK, thanks for that.

Unplug the appliance and take the cover on the rear off.

This will expose the element and the thermostats.

You will require to have access to and be able to use a multimeter to check the thermostats.

Check them to see if they are open circuit, if they are look to see if there is a hole in the rear of one of them. If there is a hole, use a pin and gently reset the thermostat.

If no hole, you'll need to fit new ones.

 

Also check the heater to see if it's open circuit and check the wiring for any broken wires.
