Question

I have a whirlpool akz151/wh eletric oven, built in and the digital readout is displaying the word "stop". This came about after an electricity power cut. I've tried depressing the middle button (timer button) for more than 10 secs in the hope that I can reset the clock and thus free it but it hasn't worked. I've tried turning the power on/off and pressing/holding the timer button again and again but it is still reading "stop" and won't allow me to select may of the functions and therefore the oven cannot be used.

Is this a problem with the control panel, power card or with the timer button itself?

Many thanks for your help.

Hiya,

Turn the appliance off at the wall switch.

Ensure the rotary switch on the front of the appliance is set at the off position.

Switch the machine on at the wall and press and release the button, a cursor should move to the right with each press, once it's on the right hand side of the display, set the time using the rotary knob.

Once the time is set, press the button again.

If you find it won't work and the button makes a click sound, turn off at the wall and back on. Keep trying.

Hope this helps

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks
