Hiya,
You have to pull the two pulleys apart and the belt goes between them.
When you release the pulleys they tension the belt.
Hope this helps
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks
Hi
Thank you for the quick response. The belt is currently around the back of both of the pullies. I think that the belt goes between the two, but does it go around the left or right as you look at the motor with the pullies away from you?
Both sides of the belt coming down from the drum go between the pulleys.
Pull the two pulleys apart and put the belt between them.
One side goes on the inside of the left pulley, the other side goes on the inside of the right pulley.

Hi Fred
The belt is still loose, but I can pick this up tomorrow if that's ok with you.
I'll need the part number of the belt you've fitted.
If it's round the drum, round the motor shaft and both pulleys are pressing the belt in then it should be tight.
Can you take a photograph of the belt in position? and post it here?
