Question

I have a 1988 50 hoursepower mariner outboard with very low hours. Had the carbs rebuilt two years ago. When i frist start the motor & try to nail to go it barley moves. After 5 minutes all the way open it starts to kick in. It's like it starves for gas, but then it goes. It is not air bound beacuse i have the vent all the way open. Once it kicks in it flys. Help

Answer

I opted out so that another tech might try to assist you. I wonder if your response to my "opt out' re-locked your question.

I'll try opting out again. Just don't respond to my message and wait for another tech to respond to you before posting again.
