have 99 and 2000 yamaha xl1200s iput both machines to sleep like i always have fogging cylindersand so on put brand new batt in both both machines turned over but now just getting click neither machine wants to turn over starter issue? please give any info possible? XXXXX@XXXXXX.XXX

Hello,

 

Did you maybe kill the batteries trying to start them? what brand/type of batteries are they?

 

Check the main engine ground, the starter and selonoid connections, make sure none are loose or have corrosion.
