Hello,

I am sorry your kitty is having so much trouble with his eye. I would not use anything you have at home in his eye, you can make things much worse. The best thing to do is to have him seen first thing tomorrow by his vet for an exam to identify the problem. If you think he is very uncomfortable, have him seen by an emergency vet today. If you decide to wait until morning, you need to be prepared that the longer your kitty goes without medical attention, the more damage the eye will sustain. Untreated eye conditions can result in permanent blindness or loss of the eye altogether. If there is no way to have your kitty seen today, the only thing you can do is go to the pet store and buy an e-collar to keep him from rubbing the eye. Keep him in a dark room as light tends to cause more discomfort. Please do not put anything in his eye without instructions from a vet to do so. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. If this has been helpful, please hit the green accept button. Best of luck with your kitty :)
