Does the igniter get hot for the usual length of time?
I believe you do not have gas at the burner.
If you did it would ignite.

i feel like it's getting lp at the nozzle, but it shoots out and then the control board clicks then the gas stops!how long should the igniter stay lit for it to fire up?
Accepted Answer
Normally you hear the click of the solenoid on the gas valve, ignition will occur then the igniter stays lit for a short time after that.
You may hear air, not gas at your nozzles.
Has anyone in the area had similar problems.
Has your gas been worked on?
Have you tried purging the line?

yes i have bled the lines ,but i was worried about the icb cause thats where the clicking is coming from! would the pressure switch be involved in anything or the gas valve is no good? this one has me puzzled!

Answer
This sounds like a gas valve problem to me.
The click you hear is a relay on the board.
If the pressure switch was the problem the igniter would not get hot.
Do you have anything else connected to the same gas line? Such as a water heater?
If so does it ignite?
