I have 2 3yr old cats which I am taking to the vet in the am. They both have fevers of 105 - is their anything I can give them tonight to help them. Can I give them Children's motrin?

DO NOT GIVE YOUR CATS MOTRIN OR IBUPROFEN OR TYLENOL. These drugs are HIGHLY TOXIC to cats. Cats metabolize these drugs very differently from humans. One Tylenol can kill a cat, no kidding. Motrin or ibuprofen can cause severe kidney damage. Even the aspirin doses for cats are much much lower than for humans.
It is better to keep your cats hydrated. Encourage them to drink. Some cats like a running faucet. Add extra water to canned food (make gravy) if they are not interested in plain water.
