My boss owns a liquor store in colorado and has heard of liquor tax breaks for muslims. Are there any liquor tax breaks for a muslim liquor merchant in the state of colorado? If so, what would my boss need to do in order to receive this tax break?

Hello bluerose,
Unfortunately what you heard is not correct. There are no tax breaks for muslims in the liquor merchant industry in the state of Colorado, nor are there tax breaks for any other ethnic group, and that applies to all industries, not just liquor merchants.
Everyone who is a liquor merchant or in any other business in the state of Colorado pays the same tax, regardless of their ethnic group or background.
You may want to ask this person if they can give you more specifics on what they heard, as it will likely end up that it is something totally unrelated to a tax break for someone being muslim. There is just no such tax break for any ethnic group.
Thank you bluerose, and let me know if you have more questions. I am happy to help you with whatever I can.
