I need you to press the brakes and get a helper to see if the brake lights come on?

its dark here,it works when i play with the brake pedel , but brake lights do not come on all the time

If the brake lights do not come on all the time then this is your fault. The brake pedal has switch on the arm above your foot. This switch is likely to be failing which also sends a brake signal to the shifter to allow the shift lock to release.
